Archery
Archery will be located in the forest and campers will be able to hone their skills
Animal Care
As a working ranch, there are a variety of farm animals that need to be cared for. Campers take on the responsibility to love and care for the ranch animals daily.
Arts and Crafts
At KAJ Ranch Arts & Crafts is a place where kids can grow their creativity. Most of our crafts incorporate natural elements found at the ranch.
Campfires
We love to make campfires at night to roast marshmallows and to help shape the hearts of our campers.
Drama
Our outdoor theater is the center of camp entertainment. Campers participate in drama activities and perform plays complete with an array of costumes. Campers help to create the sets and backdrops.
Dining
Developing and improving social skills – gearing for life – is all part of KAJ's full-circle approach. Meals are served family-style and good dining etiquette is encouraged. Expanding our palettes and making manners a habit is important as our campers head into the world of college interviews and professional settings.
That being said, this IS camp! We like to have fun while we are all together in the Dining Hall. Music is an essential part of our camp: you can tell it’s almost mealtime from the melodies playing over the speakers.
What about the food? There are no frozen fish sticks and boxed macaroni here. Each day our chef prepares three well-balanced meals. You can always count on a hot breakfast with cereal available, plenty of fruits and vegetables with lunch and dinner, and entrees ranging from steak to chicken tenders.
Fishing
Fully stocked pond/lake will provide amazing bass and sunfish fishing for all campers. Campers will learn how to raise fish and will be able to enjoy a fresh fish meal.
High Ropes
At our High Ropes Course, up as high as 50 feet, kids may attempt all or one of eighteen different elements. Campers have the opportunity to test themselves and really push their comfort zone within a well-supervised, safe and controlled environment. A long zip line is the feature of the high course, where campers can take a thrill ride out of the forest and across the meadow. Both our High and Low courses are inspected and approved annually.
Horseback Riding
At Ranch we offer campers of all skill levels the opportunity to engage in a complete equestrian experience. With our exceptional Wranglers and horses, Since KAJ Ranch is a working ranch campers get to learn western horsemanship. Campers get the opportunity to explore miles of trails through the ranch.
Climbing Wall
The Climbing wall will help our children grow through building self trust. This wall will be located in the Building with other activities. Safety is our number one priority.
Dance/ Cheer
KAJ will offer dance and Cheer classes
